Horses are uniquely equipped to diagnose gaps and uncover blind spots in leadership and team dynamics through their instinctive, non-verbal responses to human behaviour. As prey animals, they rely heavily on body language, energy, and emotional congruence to assess their surroundings. When interacting with people, horses provide immediate, unbiased feedback, reflecting any inconsistencies or misalignments between a leader's intentions and actions. If a team member or leader lacks confidence, authenticity, or clarity, the horse will resist engaging, highlighting areas where the individual may struggle with presence, communication, or emotional regulation.
