An experiential learning day for individuals and small teams who want more than just a PD or team building box ticked.
Teams aren’t just groups of people working together — they’re made up of individuals, each bringing their own leadership style, communication habits, decision-making preferences, and emotional triggers.
When leadership styles and communication preferences aren't recognised or aligned, teams experience friction like:
Communication breaks down
People hold back — or talk over each other
Stress magnifies tension
Trust erodes slowly, but surely
The real issues aren’t just technical — they’re relational.
A lot of PD training doesn’t stick because it doesn’t deal with what’s really going on.
Our workshop puts "people before process" and immerses leaders and teams in navigating real-time uncertainty with horses, revealing blind spots and uncovering gaps in trust, communication, and leadership alignment — and equipping participants with the awareness and actions needed to create more effective leadership and team behavioural change.
Whether you're showing up as a team or an individual leader, the learning is immediate, embodied, and unforgettable.
Strong teams — and strong leadership — don’t happen by chance. They’re built with intention.
That’s what we practise here.
At Leading Change Experiences we specialise in human behaviour, emotional intelligence, and leadership presence and capacity through experiential learning.
Using a unique blend of behavioural profiling (EDISC) and horse-led experiences, we help teams:
✔ See their blind spots
✔ Understand themselves and each other
✔ Learn how to respond (not react) under pressure or in uncertainty
This is not a day out to target each other with paint balls!
This is real-time leadership and team learning, facilitated by horses — who reflect truth without ego.
Leaders — whether you're at the executive level or managing at the middle level
Small business or workplace teams (4–8 people) — who want to strengthen, enhance and optimise how they work, communicate, and lead together
HR professionals — looking for a fresh way to develop leadership and shift team culture
Regional and rural teams — wanting something real, grounded, practical, and people-focused
Teams navigating change — including growth, new leadership, or shifting roles
Teams recovering from stress, restructure, or internal tension
Performing teams — needing a reset, deeper alignment, or bonding experience
Leaders or emerging leaders in rural communities or country sport
A team is a group of people
that trust each other.”
Our equine-led sessions are designed to uncover blind spots in team dynamics and leadership behaviour. Horses are incredibly attuned feedback mechanisms—natural amplifiers of the energy, intent, and communication within a group.
Your team won’t just talk about challenges—they’ll feel them, navigate them, and need to respond in real time. Working with horses on the ground (no riding involved), team members must partner with these sensitive, responsive animals to complete tasks, overcome obstacles, and adapt in the moment.
Many of the hidden dynamics—power plays, disengagement, unclear communication, reactive behaviour—surface quickly. And in order to move forward, your team must shift their approach, rethink their communication, and work together with clarity and intent.
Because if they don’t? The horse simply won’t follow.
We offer a proven experiential learning process, trusted globally and backed by research — with clear objectives and outcomes that stick.

A fresh perspective on themselves and their teammates – Understanding that everyone sees things differently AND WHY — and how this shapes the quality and success of all interactions, in decision making, communication and teamwork.
Stronger communication and trust – Learn how different human behaviour styles impact the relationships in your team - and beyond!
Hands-on teamwork skills – Experience how real-time collaboration with horses is a powerful bio-feedback of presence, energy, attitude, trust, clarity, adaptability and leadership capability — for individuals and your team. We go well beyond theory! We are practising and developing in real time!
Deeper self-awareness – Recognise personal strengths, blind spots, and how individual behavioural and communication styles influence team dynamics.
Greater emotional intelligence – Understand how emotions drive behaviour and how to manage reactions under pressure, to respond more resourcefully, with greater emotional maturity.
Insights into how energy and presence are the foundation for all good leadership - and humanship – Learn how intention, energy, and presence impact leadership and personal enrichment — the horses are always reflecting the parts of ourselves we aren't aware of, which spans across into our personal lives as well as in the workplace.
Stronger team cohesion and alignment – Develop mutual respect, empathy, and a shared language for working better, more cohesively together.
Practical takeaways that stick – Most training teaches the head. Horses teach the human.
They reveal how your team shows up under pressure, how clearly they communicate, how they lead and how they collaborate — in real time and without judgement. These experiences hit deeper than theory, giving people practical insights they actually remember and use back at work.
This is hands-on learning at its best: grounded, relatable and impossible to forget.

WOULD YOU LOVE YOUR TEAM TO EXPERIENCE THIS OBJECTIVE-DRIVEN DAY?
Our workshops are designed for teams of up to 8 participants to ensure a focused, high-impact experience. For larger teams or specific challenges, tailored options are available—just chat with me to explore the best fit.
Through ground-based activities with horses (no riding), your team members will receive honest, immediate feedback on how they show up—individually and collectively as a group of people working together. Horses naturally respond to energy, intention, attitude, thoughts, feelings and behaviour, revealing blind spots in leadership, communication, and trust dynamics that may be holding your team back.
Your team will explore horse culture—rooted in trust, safety, and cooperation—and discover how these same instinctive principles can be applied to strengthen human teams, improve relationships, and create a more connected way of working together.
The real-time feedback from the horses challenges participants to align their actions, energy, and communication—resulting in stronger self-awareness, behavioural adaptability, and better relationships at work.
