Communication that breaks down under pressure
Sick days that cluster around certain people or situations
Good people going quiet, disengaging, or eventually leaving
Tension in the environment that's hard to pinpoint, but everybody feels
A leader or manager who's struggling to bring the team together — and is starting to realise that managing people is a completely different skill set to doing the job itself
A culture that has slowly become one that lacks cohesiveness, trust and accountability — and no longer aligns with the values the business was built on
A growing awareness that under SA's WHS legislation, these invisible risks are now your legal responsibility — and that failure to address them could leave you personally liable
Transforming Leadership Gaps and Team Challenges into
Enhanced EQ, Communication & Team Productivity!
- Empowering People and Transforming Team Culture
Workplaces are good at identifying physical hazards. What about the ones you can't see?
Most businesses have a process for physical risks — a wet floor, a faulty machine, an incident report. There are systems for that. Checklists. Forms.
But what about the communication patterns that leave people feeling like they don't matter? The quiet resignation that settles in when people stop feeling inspired? The culture where no one feels safe to speak up — or where issues have been raised but never satisfactorily addressed? The slow burn of disengagement — where people stop going the extra mile and start just going through the motions — until it shows up as sick days, conflict and people walking out the door?
These are psychosocial hazards. And under South Australia's WHS legislation, employers are now legally required to identify and manage them — just like physical ones.
Most small businesses don't know this yet. But here's what matters: if these risks exist in your workplace and you haven't taken steps to address them, you could be held personally liable.
This isn't about fear or compliance for compliance's sake. It's about creating workplaces where people genuinely thrive — and protecting yourself, your team and your business in the process.

I work on the human side of WHS. The invisible stuff — the communication breakdowns, the culture problems, the leadership gaps that don't show up on any hazard checklist but show up everywhere else. In sick days. In resignations. In the tension that nobody talks about — but everyone feels.
After years working across the rural sector in mining, agronomy, fencing contracting, beef properties and sales, one thing became clear to me: the quality of my experience at work was always shaped by the health of the relationships around me — the awareness and human skills of the people who made up the team; how leadership showed up; whether I felt heard, valued, and like I was emotionally "safe" at work.
When I stepped into business ownership myself, I saw it from the other side. The more grounded, clear and emotionally steady I felt within myself, the better I led — and the better I felt in life. That insight is at the heart of everything I do.
I'm not HR. But if you have an HR manager, I work alongside them — helping design the learning and development your people actually need, for individuals and teams. For all other situations, I come in to support your efforts in developing your people.
What I've come to understand is that people's default behaviours and patterns become most visible under pressure — during change, uncertainty or when life outside work gets hard. People don't leave their personal landscape at the door. They bring it in with them.
My work gives leaders and their teams the tools and self-awareness to understand their own default patterns, manage themselves more effectively, and understand where others are coming from. Because when people understand themselves and each other, everything shifts.
I relate to regional business, farming operations, workplace teams and understand tight budgets. I'm passionate about the businesses and people in regional SA.
I work with a mix of practical workshop facilitation, Extended DISC behavioural profiling, Emotional Culture tools, one-on-one coaching, and — for teams ready for something genuinely different — horse-led experiential leadership and team development. It sounds unusual. The results are incredible.
